Are Political Factors More Relevant Than Economic Factors in Firm-Level Renewable Energy Technology Export? Evidence from Path Analysis

Renewable energy technology (RET) firms are key economic entities in the export of RET-related products and components, which RET firms’ exports affected largely by policy market. Nonetheless, effects market factors on firm-level have never received attention from researchers. This study aims to fill gap taking a political economy approach establish structural equation model analyze path political-economic factor-firms’ orientation-based export. reveals that market-orientation-based enhancement depends entirely forces. Particularly, two government intervention instruments, environmental promotion policy, were highlighted.
